Hello there, #WritingCommunity. I did a thing for a friend. It was written as an idea came to me a month back. I'm finally posting it for others to read. If you're looking for a tale that's #LGBT+ / #LGBTQIA+ and you're a fan of #TheWitcher (and of vampiric society and relationships), this one's for you.

So, hab #TheWitcher #SirensOfTheDeep jetzt auch zuende geschaut ... Einerseits cool, einenFantasyfilm mehr zu haben, in dem Meermenschen, Seehexen, Vodniks (aka Locathah/Athamaru) und Kraken dermaßen im Mittelpunkt stehen, in dem es vordergründig um ein maritimes Wirtschafts-/Umweltproblem (grenzt schon an Ragebait) geht und dessen Finale tatsächlich auf und im Wasser stattfindet. Dazu bekommt Geralt noch ein paar tolle Kampfszenen spendiert und löst das Geheimnis am Ende mit Köpfchen ... 1/2

Meme I made last December resembling the Tumblr news format of Supernatural (I love you - some current news instead of a real reply) featuring Witcher Geralt (I love you) and Yen answering "The birds are back. They are eating the gävlebocken again", which tuned out to be not true, unfortunately.

Same meme format only from the scene where Geralt actually says "I love you, Yen". Yennefer's "I love you too" got plastered over with my "This is an even better version of the meme format than the one I made previously"

Nach drei Wochen koreanischer Geschichte in Folge, brauch ich heute am #MeerfilmMittwoch 14/25 mal wieder ein wenig koreanische Fantasy. #SirensOfTheDeep (ROK 2025, R: Kang Hei Chul) ist der neue Animationsfilm aus dem #TheWitcher-Universum, basierend auf Sapkowskis Erzählung "A Little Sacrifice". Er hat bislang durchwachsene Bewertungen. Sonst weiß ich nur, was der Titel verrät. Ich erwarte nichts. Melde mich in gut anderthalb Stunden.

Spoke to a publisher and we discussed the value of the “My book is like X meets Y” elevator pitch, referencing two pieces of pop culture. My challenge is that I go deep on things rather than have a wide breadth of knowledge, so nothing jumped to mind.

After searching, I came back with…
#CrownOfHorns is like #TheWitcher meets #1984: a Slavic-inspired political fantasy where authoritarianism takes hold before you even know it.

Will keep ideating, but what do you think?

I just love her too much... Ciri has my whole heart. I've been replaying (and on Switch for once as opposed to my PC), all in honor of The Witcher 4 heading our way in the future. It's so exciting.

(I finally have the time to join in! Yay! My nana is doing so well after her surgery.)

I have a few stories that I'm currently working on, with an original novel somewhere there in the mix. My only goal is to WRITE. I don't care what it's for, how much is accomplished, or when or where it's done. I can't pressure myself. That's when things don't get done. You know what I mean? Plus, I have a podcast to work on and #DnD campaign for #TheWitcher to run.

I'm currently enjoying a Witcher Oneshot of my own creation for my players. At the moment, they're struggling with the age-old question: Should we break the door down, pick its lock, seduce it, or just juggle the knob to open it—because it might not even be locked in the first place? I'm quietly sitting here, trying with all my might not to outright laugh or cackle at the group. Spoiler alert: It's actually unlocked.

Also, I told a player, in response to a seduction attempt—"attempt" being the keyword here, honestly—that the door just doesn't swing that way. LOL.

Attempting intimidation to get the door to respect you isn't going to work, either. They always try this with random and inanimate objects and yet it never works. Gee, I wonder why.
