🗣 WHY HAS WIKIPEDIA NOT CHANGED THE DESCRIPTION OF STORM THURMAN’S RACIST FILIBUSTER AS THE 2ND LONGEST IN HISTORY?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strom_Th

tell me this “posturing” and so-called not real #filibuster is not important?

there are 47 US Senators for the Democratic Party. fuckers need to take on where Cory left off and filibuster until all the thousands of workers and experts are re-instated and all the programs shut down brought back up and funded.

IF IT TAKES ALL YEAR THEN SO BE IT.

"This isn’t just poetic justice—it’s a political redemption. The same tactics once used to block civil rights are now being wielded to defend them.

The record for the longest speech in Senate history no longer belongs to a segregationist. It belongs to a Black man fighting for democracy."

1/4 People are celebrating #Booker &the great #filibuster caper. That's fine. They're desperate for a hero w Schumer asleep at the wheel or rather driving drunk under the influence of #Zionist #fascism.

Did the record deserve to be broken and held by anyone other than a segregationist? Sure.

Please understand that ICE disappearing legal residents is directly related to #Zionism, to which Booker & many in Congress pledge allegiance with every vote & dollar every day.

I thought it was historical, but not only for breaking the filibuster record but for its substance, its content.
It felt like a pivot moment, which might change the path of history.
If only enough red voters and politicians watched and listened, enough may have been swayed into standing up for their beliefs and hold the president to the constitution or remove him from office.
