I visited my sister and her family to meet my grand nephew last year in October. I told them I wanted to come visit them then, while I still had the chance. I told them, I was certain that if Trump was reelected, it would be the last time I’d see the States for a long time, if not ever. They thought I was being weird, but I had a feeling things like this might happen. Seeing it unfold, as I’d feared it would, is incredibly bleak and it makes me feel sad, angry, and sick.
