Some boxes (Keychron Q10 keyboard, acoustic upgrade kit and replacement plate) and a bag of dark blue and yellow keyboard switches (Tecsee Sapphire)

That moment you notice you got an ISO plate for an ANSI 🤬🤦.
After assembly, while mounting the switches, of course.
So I guess I'll reassemble the steel plate and keep it that way for a while... 😕

Entirely my fault, by the way. just delivered the bs I had ordered.

A partially assembled mechanical keyboard. Behind the black outer case, a brass plate is visible and some blue and yellow switches are already mounted to the plate. If you know where to look, you can see it's not aligned correctly in some places (because it's two different f***ing layouts). A bag with more of switches is lying above the keyboard

Assembly done. I'm not completely happy with how the look on it (and I had to compromise a little because of some missing print-to-row combinations). But it's just a temporary solution until some group buy arrives, so I'll keep the look for the time being. May try something else soon, too...

Edit: by the way: that's a Q10 with Sapphire switches and keycaps

A keyboard on a white table top. The keyboard has a 75% "Alice" shape (the two halves are split and slightly separated at an angle, forming a more ergonomic shape) and has a black case. The keycaps are black with light green legends and dark purple katakana (japanese) sublegends. The overall look takes a bow to "hacker" clichés and the matrix movies, some special icon keycaps with corresponding symbology underlining that.
