Day 17 at #RPGaDay2023: Funniest game
Hmm, almost every game I played. There is always something funny happening, regardless of how sinister the setting or the danger the SCs are in.
Day 18 at #RPGaDay2023: Favourite system
Have to say #WFRP , it's the system I played the most and the longest in almost all variations.
But, as said by others today before: I just need some dice and cool/funny people and the heck who cares about what system we're playing
Edit: Typo
Day 19 at #RPGaDay2023: Favourite published adventure
That has to be #wildheart in the #Trudvang Chronicles setting. Dark, mysterious and fun with a creepy forest and mystic folklore around its heart. Also available for #Trudvang5e
Edit: Typo
Day 20at #RPGaDay2023: Will still play in 20 years' time?
Easy answer: semper ludens
Day 20 at #RPGaDay2023: Will still play in 20 years' time? (cont.)
I even have a shirt to answer that question.
Edit: added ALT text to the picture
Day 21 at #RPGaDay2023: "Favourite licensed RPG"
Only played one: #Conan: Adventures In An Age Undreamed Of
by #modiphiusgames
Addendum: stupid me! #warhammer is a licensed RPG and I am and have been totally immersed in the grim world of perilous adventures of the first #WFRP1e to #WFRP4e by #cubicle7
Day 22 at #RPGaDay2023: "Best secondhand purchase"
Definitely two until then missing books of the #PowerbehindtheThrone series for #WFRP1e
Day 23 at #RPGaDay2023:
"Coolest looking RPG product / book"
"The Savage World of Flash Gordon"
I like the setting and the look of the whole box, pulpy comic look for a fun setting.
For second place I would nominate #Hexxen1733
Day 24 at #RPGaDay2023: "complex / simple Game"
The most complex RPG I ever played is, in my opinion, #DSA Dunno which version it was, but simple combat alone had several rules for about everything and it took way too much time to finish one round of combat
Simplest one was #Conan2d20 just roll, play and hack and slay
Day 25 at #RPGaDay2023: "Unplayed game you own"
Countless. Not considering the digital pile of shame or adventures I would use the following settings/rule systems for an answer:
#flashgordon
#HeXXen
#Trudvang (not the 5e version)
#starswithoutnumber
#Paladin
#outbreakundead
Day 26 at #RPGaDay2023: "Favourite character sheet"
Actually I don't care as long as there is everything I need to know on the first page.
Day 27 at #RPGaDay2023: "I would like a new edition of..."
... none/nothing/nil
New editions tend to change the original #ttrpg either in extreme ways and make a new system out of it or change it only in small details but with the necessity to buy all the books again.
Either way, I consider most new editions to be cash cow moves. Better adapt settings to different systems to offer new possibilities for existing editions
Day 28 at #RPGaDay2023: "Scariest game you've played"
Difficult to answer. The closest would be a oneshot of #dnd5e. The Haunt by P.B. Publishing.
Scary old mansion to explore and the use of sound effects (doors, children giggling etc...) made the adventure quite creepy
Day 29 at #RPGaDay2023: "Most memorable encounter "
Dunno. I've been playing for about 30+ years now, there have been a lot of encounters over the years. And quite a lot memorable. I'm not able to pick one as THE most memorable one...
Day 30 at #RPGaDay2023: "Obscure RPG you've played""
I would say "Dude, Run!". It is a competitive storytelling game of televised paranormal investigation. One is the Skeptic and responsible for moderating the game. The others are the investigators, true believers in the paranormal. They will pit their skills against the Skeptic and each other while attempting to find enough evidence to prove the paranormal. Prove nothing, be awesome, and inflate your ego all in the name of pseudo-science!
Day 31 at #RPGaDay2023: "Favourite RPG of all-time""
Literally it has to be #WFRP . But actually it's whenever like-minded folks sit and play something together and have fun. Regardless which RPG it is at the time
