Stjep<p>Ever since WotC bought DnD Beyond, it feels like the platform's functions and UI have been stagnating. DDB is now where it was in 2022, just worse.</p><p>The only new "functions" are DDB's "Maps" and "Sigil" (which is Windows-only), none of which are useful for offline play. What's worse, is that since DnD 5.5e was released, the platform has become cluttered, and more difficult to navigate. John "Gozzy" Godsland<p>D&amp;D Beyond allows content sharing in a campaign. A buddy of mine owns Spelljammer so shares it in our campaign. The DDB encounter tool allows me, as DM, to add monsters from Spelljammer. But the new Maps encounter tool does not. This is a deliberate decision by Hasbro and forces DM's to own books they want to use with Maps. I was kind of expecting this, but it still bums me out. My players are (rightfully) complaining that using legacy (2014) content on D&D Beyond has become overwhelmingly cumbersome.

Unless you're using the 2024 content, your DDB experience will continue to become increasingly unpleasant. Which is such a rotten thing to do, when your customers have spent hundreds of dollars on your service, and just want to be able to keep using what they've paid for.
